“We’re looking at ways we can evolve and change our logo. We want it to represent the Columbus we’ve come to know. I don’t think a construction crew is really representative. [Columbus is] not a blue-collar, manufacturing, industrial town. It’s a smart, young, progressive university town with world-class businesses. It’s a white-collar town. We want to be representative. We don’t see Columbus in the crest. There are things we can do to represent the capital city better.” - Source Fox Sports

Front-office staffers cope with Crew SC relocation saga

Andrew Erickson, September 9, 2018

Greeley helped conduct the Oct. 17 meeting and visited Mapfre Stadium for meetings in early January, and Loughnane has handled staff updates and interactions. Precourt’s last public appearance in Columbus was Oct. 31, 2017, for the Crew’s Eastern Conference semifinal home leg against New York City FC.

For some employees, being in the same room as Precourt goes as far back as the 2016 office holiday party.

Since late June, when PSV’s pursuit of a term sheet for a stadium in Austin began to heat up, Precourt has been seen at three Austin City Council meetings.
